SRC Gulf States Constructors (AGSC) provided design/build and construction management services. Key components were the installation of new federal government PIV card reader entry controls along with computer systems and software at five Strategic Petroleum Reserve locations. The system provides authorized entry access and personnel enrollment functions.
AValue engineering provided by AGSC resulted in a $300,000 savings to the DOE.
This project required demolition of the existing card reader system.
