ASRC Gulf States Constructors (AGSC) is providing construction management services for major maintenance and capital projects at National Strategic Petroleum Reserve locations in Louisiana and Texas. New projects are budgeted for action by the DOE on a fiscal year basis and assigned to AGSC for management and execution. Projects involve improving and upgrading existing facilities and systems.
AGSC is assigned task orders to manage work designed by a third-party, and task orders that require AGSC and its contractors to perform design/build functions. We currently provide oversight of design, installation, and testing to DOE’s performance specifications for security systems projects with major design build components:
AGSC solicits and evaluates contractors, and awards general contracts on a best value basis. Our contract management processes ensure selected contractors are competent and qualified to construct new facilities or provide upgrades to existing facilities or systems in accordance with the detailed specifications and drawings. Our construction management professionals direct the construction effort, both administratively and technically to ensure a safe and cost effective construction process and quality deliverables.
Additionally, we are providing general contractor services and self performs selected tasks as directed by DOE. These tasks include construction of several large, complex projects completed on schedule and under government estimates.
AGSC recently negotiated additional scope of work to include Drilling Management Services for the DOE’s National Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
