Formed in 2003, ASRC Gulf States Constructors (AGSC) pursues construction and government contracting opportunities in the continental United States, with specific emphasis in the Gulf of Mexico region.
Prior to the creation of AGSC, our sister company ASRC Constructors, Inc. (ACI) developed an excellent performance record and assembled an experienced staff of construction professionals in the Gulf region. ACI’s experience included providing construction management services to the Department of Energy’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which resulted in five successful years with excellent ratings from the DOE for services delivered. When ACI graduated from the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program, DOE selected AGSC in September 2008 to provide construction management services for the SPR.
AGSC’s strategic objective of expanding the single customer success of ACI is being realized, as we now provide construction services to a multiple client base throughout the Gulf States region.
AGSC is part of the ASRC Construction Holding Company (ACHC) family of companies. ACHC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC), an Alaska Native owned corporation representing the business interests of the Arctic Slope Iñupiat communities. As part of ASRC, AGSC has access to tremendous financial resources. And as an ACHC subsidiary, AGSC’s customers benefit from centralized support services that streamline our management and contracting processes.
